Trust & safety
Care you can trust, entirely
Inviting someone into your home is a big thing. Here's exactly how we make sure the person who arrives is safe, qualified and genuinely right for you.
Rigorously vetted carers
Every carer completes a National Police Check and a Working With Vulnerable People clearance, plus identity verification and two reference checks, before they ever visit — and we keep it all current.
Every visit is insured
Care delivered through Birchmere is covered by public liability and professional indemnity insurance, so you and your carer are protected on every visit.
Your data, protected
We handle personal and health information under the Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles. It's stored securely and never sold.
Clear care standards
All carers sign our Code of Conduct and Work Health & Safety policy, committing to dignity, professionalism and safe practice in your home.
Something not right? Tell us
Raise a concern any time with your coordinator, by phone or email. Every complaint is acknowledged within two business days — confidentially, with no detriment.
A real human on your side
A dedicated care coordinator oversees your care, checks in, and is a phone call away whenever you need them.
Insurance, covered
You're protected on every single visit
Care arranged through Birchmere is backed by comprehensive public liability and professional indemnitycover. There's nothing for you to arrange — it's included with every booking, for both clients and carers.
